The Digital Euro Association (DEA) has established a collaboration with Ripple as a supporting partner on central bank digital currency (CBDCs).
Ripple, a prominent supplier of business blockchain and crypto solutions for cross-border payments, has recently created a blockchain-based infrastructure to enable CBDCs and is working with Bhutan’s central bank, among others, to assist them implement their CBDC pilot.
Ripple is also a member of the Digital Pound Foundation, which is working to promote CBDCs all across the globe. The DEA’s collaboration with Ripple involves cooperative educational activities surrounding digital currency and knowledge sharing, among other things.

The Digital Euro Association (DEA) is a think tank located in Frankfurt, Germany that focuses on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), stablecoins, crypto assets, and other forms of digital money.
It focuses on the digital euro in particular. The DEA’s aim is to contribute to public and political dialogue on digital money issues by research, education, and the creation of a forum and community for policymakers, technologists, and economists to address these issues.
