Cryptocurrencies And SHIB Are Now Accepted for Payment at a Dubai Cafe

Signs Of Adoption | SHIB and many more are accepted as a form of payment.

A café in Dubai called Bake N More has become the first establishment in the city to take Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies as payment via the Mixin Network. Customers may pay for their purchases at this modern café using Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Shiba Inu, and Dogecoin, thanks to the open-source payment technology used by the establishment.

More Companies Accept SHIB

SlingTV, the American Cancer Society, Newegg, Menufy, the Carolina Hurricanes, and Twitch are just a few of the prominent firms that already accept SHIB payments via BitPay. When BitPay first announced its support for the Shiba Inu coin in late 2021, it enabled users to spend SHIB at hundreds of BitPay businesses that accepted the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency.

The Meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu was crowned champion in a recent competition conducted by top cryptocurrency payments processor BitPay, according to the winning meme. The “BitPpay Brackets” competition was held in order to determine which cryptocurrency was “ready to burst.”

In total, sixteen cryptocurrencies were entered into the competition, which was divided into four rounds and divided into brackets. These cryptocurrencies included Binance Coin, Cardano (which was the first coin entered), Solana (which was the second entered), Polkadot (which was the third entered), Dogecoin (which was the fourth entered), and other altcoins. In each phase of the tournament, members of the cryptocurrency community were required to vote for their preferred cryptocurrency among a certain pair of cryptocurrencies by filling out a specific voting form. Shiba Inu managed to acquire an advantage against Terra, Solana, and then Cardano over the first three rounds of the tournament.

Shiba Inu may possibly be preparing to launch a number of significant initiatives in the coming weeks. In recent updates released by Shiba Inu creator Shytoshi Kusama, SHIB: The Metaverse territories are expected to be made accessible to players “very soon.” In the last several years, Shiba Inu has been hard at work developing Shibarium, a Layer 2 solution for the breed. Nevertheless, one of the developers, @kaaldhairya, has said that the Layer 2 solution has progressed to the next stage in its development cycle.

Shibarium, the Layer 2 on which SHIB: The Metaverse will be built, is now in the Alpha phase, with the possibility of moving into the Beta phase in the not too distant future. It has been reported by @shibainuart that the “SHIB Burn gateway is approaching the final phases, and it will have the ability to earn prizes,” is nearing completion.
